Controlling DL-2s via ArtNet on GrandMA

All:

Has anyone had success controlling DL-2s directly from a GrandMA via ArtNet? I'm certain the ArtNet subnet is set correctly, and I'm seeing the proper DMX values on another ArtNet output device I setup as a troubleshooting tool, but I seem unable to talk to the DL-2s directly via ArtNet. And the DL-2s are set to use ArtNet.

Is the fact that I'm using a user-assigned IP address (192.168.1.0 /24) for the DL-2s screwing w/the required ArtNet addressing scheme? That's the only straw I have left to grasp at, it appears. Perhaps I'll try altering the DL-2 addresses to be in the 2.x.x.x IP range ArtNet requires.

I'd love some friendly tips if anyone has them.

Resurrecting an old thread here...
Ok, one problem with the PDF, it says,

"The Subnet and ID should be set to match the Subnet and Universe on the DL.2."

Ok, the axon/DL2 uses numbers for its subnet and universe, while the Grand MA uses letters. How do you "match" these. Does subnet A on Grand MA equate to subnet 1 on axon with B=2 and so forth? Basically, what are the matching pairs for subnet and universe between DL2 and Grand MA? Thanks.

No...

ArtNet subnets and universes are in commonly notated in hex. Type in "1" or "4", for example, into the subnet or universe ID on the GrandMA and it will be accepted. "A" > "F" correspond to subnet/universe 10 > 15.
