From reading the manual: 5x2 collage is DMX 29 on modifier 1, max resolution is 1584x489

For my own clarification, the max resolution stated in the manual is for mpeg2 files, right? Dropping in a higher res .jpg should be fine?

Yes, you should be able to drop in a higher resolution still. Depending on the specific model hardware in your Axon some units can go to higher resolutions than others.

If you stay below 2048x2048 for stills I think you will probably be fine.

Let me know the curent size for MPEG2
And if the DL2 could play an HD content in 1920
What's the age minimum of Axon to use high resolution
Because some of mine could'nt read high resolution footage
