SD SDI card on DL.3

Hey,guys
I want to know details about the DL.3 SDI card,I wonder if you would like to share some information of that.

1.The DL.3 SDI card is on SD-SDI currently, can I use camera to output the composite video signal with PAL system via BNC to DL.3 SDI?

2.If it does, what is the type(analog or digital) of the signal feeds to the DL.3 SDI card?

3.What is the maximun resolution for the SDI in DL.3?

  • Vincent,

    1) Currently you can not feed a PAL signal to the SDI capture on the DL.3. However, with our next software release (which should be out in just a few days) we are adding PAL support to SDI.

    2) The SDI signal is a specific digital signal. SDI stands for "Serial Digital Interface". You can not feed a composite signal to an SDI capture card without some kind of convertor.

    3) The current resolution on the SDI card is 720x486/29.97fps which is the NTSC standard. Once PAL support has been added 720x576/25fps will also be an option.
