SD SDI card on DL.3

Hey,guys
I want to know details about the DL.3 SDI card,I wonder if you would like to share some information of that.

1.The DL.3 SDI card is on SD-SDI currently, can I use camera to output the composite video signal with PAL system via BNC to DL.3 SDI?

2.If it does,what is the type(analog or digital) of the signal feeds to the DL.3 SDI card?

3.What is the maximun resolution for the SDI in DL.3?

    Today I spend more time on both DL.3 SDI issue,I take your advice to launch new show,I found that today only unit 1 has that B/W issue,but not always,it's fine at first,but later the image seems to be scanning,and it gradually become B/W,time passes,image ocassionally scanning again and turns to be normal(Unit 1 output,unit 2 input,unit 2 projection is normal;unit 2 output,unit 1 input is B/W).
    The same problem happens on S-video as well on Unit 1,and I try to switch to VGA,it's normal,so I guess is it problem for the capture card of Unit 1?
    I also try to use my computer to output S-video to Unit 1,but it's same with B/W.

    One more thing I wonder,if I set Unit 1 output,Unit 2 input by SDI,it's normal;but later if I unplug the SDI cable from both DL.3,and plug in again,it has no SDI signal output from Unit 1 until I reset both DL.3 the signal comes back.
    In S-video I can plug and unplug the S-video cable anytime I want,it's fine.
    Does DL.3 not support unpluging SDI cable on power?
