can i upload content to DL3/DL2's that is not 1024x768?

I have files that are 480x270 , will they work? anyone ever use files that size? do they look alright? I'm going to do a collage with 4 DL3's

and if 1024x768 is the only size I can use, does anyone know the best place to get content that size is?
