The main differences are that the DL.3 has a brighter projector (6500 lumens vs 5500 in the DL2), SDI video capabilities (SDI capture and the ability to send the onboard camera feed out through SDI), vertical lens shift on the projector, and optional lenses (Wide angle and 2 long throw lenses).
Beyond that, the DL.3 also has a more powerful graphics server and about 500 pieces of additional stock content. The DL.3 also runs a bit quieter due to improvements in the filter/fan set-up.
