HOG DL3 Fixture Libraries

I'm planning for some upcoming DL3 work and I haven't used them since the V2 release.

Looking in the current version of HOG I see,
DL-3 Global, Graphic and Motion libraries
DL v2 Global, Graphic and Motion libraries

Are the "DL-3" libraries for V1 on the DL3, and "DL v2" libraries for V2 on the DL3?

    I do want to use V2 for the benefits it offers.
    What I plan to do is,

    (2) DL3 on a truss doing 1x2 collage.
    I want to limit the layers to 4 for one DMX run.
    Layers 1-3 for looping media, 4 for live feed of words to overlay on the looping content.

    (2) DL3 on another truss for side IMAG screens.
    Basically set and forget.
    Again, limit layers for one DMX run.

    It's a repeat of an event we did last year.
    Just want to make it better and easier.
