Source Four Mini LED - source

We're looking to spec a number of S4 Mini LEDs for a permanent installation. What is the driver/source for these? The spec sheet says 35000 hours and that it's a CREE LED. What source is this? Is it a CREE MR16 retrofit lamp? Is it replaceable? Hard-wired? What happens once its life is over to get the source replaced?

So FYI for anyone interested in the future, after talking with the sales rep, looks like it's not replaceable the way the chip boards in the S4LED are. So if it cacks, gotta buy a new one. Luckily price on these isn't terrible.

That is correct, the LED is not a socketed device and does allow for easy replacement. It might be possible to have the unit returned to ETC should the LED fail. That 35000 hour number is the point when the LED would be at 70% brighteness, and is measured at full. Actual lifespan will be determined by your usage parameters. Having them burn full brightness, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, would be just a hair under 4 years to get to the 35,000 hours. At 6 hours full brightness per day, it is a about 16 years to reach the 35000 hour mark.
