Daylight dicroic filter 3200k to 5600k for Source Four 750 w 25-50 Zoom

Hi,

New to Source Four, looking at getting the above units but I'd like a dicroic filter 3200k to 5600k (Thus losing 1 stop, not 2 1/3 stops using CTB gel) and can't see one on BH Photo etc. I assume it would go in the Size B glass filter holder?

If you could give me an idea where to get them or if I'm on the right track that would be great.

Tricky. Borosilicate glass is rated to 400 degrees Celsius. The gate temperature of a Source Four is 313c to 495 C degrees. You might have to add a fan. Dichroics can also have issues with colour aberration with wider beam angles.

Apollo lists some CTB dichroics but you'd have to call to see if they produce B size. .
