Hello All,
I had a student ask me today why a Source 4 is called "Source 4". Can anybody help me with this at it is now driving me crazy!
Pat
Here's a hint - take a close look at the HPL lamp... ;-)
Thanks Sarah! Got it!
Why did I think (hope) this thread was going to be about a console?
That'll learn me to pay closer attention to the forum title.
OK. I've just had the same question come up.
I've taken a look at a lamp and I still don't get it.
Either they should be called 'source 6' in europe or I'm missing something very obvious.
Cheers
Richard
You're quite right, the 230V and 240V lamps really should be called Source Six. Ain't going to change it though!
The QXL lamp for the Revolution does have the 'right' number of twirls. That's a universal lamp for all supply voltages as it's run by the internal dimmer.
It's good to know I'm not completely stupid!
I'll have to remember to take a look in one of our revolutions next time I'm playing with them.
I was trying to find a nice graphic for that explanation.
