what is the btu per hour number for this instrument?
what is the btu per hour number for this instrument?
I asked the same question recently.
The answer I got was that as a Watt is a Watt, you should be able to figure this based upon any Watts to BTU calculator.
1 watt = 3.144 BTU ( I believe)

if a source four par puts out 3.4144 btu's per hour how manny does a selador fixture put out?
you cant just figure on watts used
no, a source 4 puts out 3.4144 btu's per hour per watt consumed.
so a 750 watt lamp puts out 2561 btu's, a 575 puts out 1963 btu's
A selador Vivid 11" which consumes 162 watts, puts out 553 BTU's.
This is what I was told.... Hopefully when the factory opens back up tomorrow someone in tech support will see this and correct me if I am wrong.
