Touch-up Paint for Source Four Fixtures

Does ETC offer touch-up paint for its fixtures?  If not, any suggestions on an aftermarket product and color?

  • When I was in college we used grill & stove paint to touch up our fixtures. Sold at a hardware store, it's designed for high-heat metal application.

  • about 3 years ago, paint started peeling of a number of S4, all manufactured around the same time.  I used some high temp flat black paint.  I'm now finding more lamps (of the same era, I think) losing paint, as well as some of the ones I touched up previously.

The areas of paint loss were usually significant (up to 3" x 3").  Above and below the lamp housing.

in theory I didn't need to prime for the high temp paint.  I may try that this year.

    (750w units, btw).
