Hi everyone
summer lamp maintenance, and the 14deg barrels are cloudy on the inside of the front (large) lens.
(I've not had my hands on them. . .. )
the crew can't get the lens out.
they tried to undo the screw into the rubber bumper nut, but the nut keeps spinning. I suggested sticking something in to pin the nut in place, but it's too round (looks like a nylock, but no corners on the nut). but that didn't work for the crew
I think we could undo the 2 bolts at the back of the lens tube, pry open the back, take the lens out, and reach through, but that seems like a bad idea (flexing the back halves against the rivets).
Thoughts? or do I need to jam something against the front nuts, but better than what the crew did?
(what's the secret?)
