Trying to compare photometrics between several Source Four fixtures using the myETC photometrics app. Was hoping to get some clarification on how the footcandle values are determined.
1) If I take a standard Source Four 575W fixture, 26 degree, 30ft throw and gel it with R33; I get a 71 fc output. Since this is a lamped fixture I would think this is with lamp throwing no color (obviously) and then a R33 gel placed in it.
2) If I take a Series 2 Lustr fixture, 26 degree, 30ft throw and gel it wtih R33; I get a 45 fc. So may question is... is this number based on the LED engine mixing to the R33 equivalent? or is it assuming the fixture throwing no color and than a R33 gel placed in it? I assume the first.
