Can the Series 1 / 2 Fresnel Adapter be used with Series 3 Lustr X8 engines?

if so, are all revisions of the Fresnel adapter compatible?

Both Series 2 and Series 3 use the same hardware to connect the barrel or adapters to the light engine.

Source Four LED Series 3 is compatible with the Fresnel adapter, and there should be no revision restrictions.
