Is it possible to mask only the y or x by wiel. Can i also place the mask where i want So i can say do the iris mask only in the top of the picture or only on the eye of the person on the picture
Masks are fixed as far as their 3-D space is concerned, so you cannot shift their X, Y or Z position.
Three things you might be able to do to achieve this though are:
1 - Move your Grahic Layer on X+Y axis to line up with the Mask-Iris as it closes
2 - Make a custom PNG graphic and load it into the server. In this case a simple black field with a transparent circle in the center. Then use your X+Y Scale to adjust the size, and your X+Y Position to move the iris.
3 - Do almost the same as #2, but use a JPG that is a black field with a white circle in the middle and use the Inverse Chromakey Coarse FX on that layer to make the white portion transparent.
i believe that since that is controlled by dmx, that would be a console issue.. I guess that if you have a H3 you can set the scaling in the programmer cells, and not with the encoders, that way they will increase/decrease the same amount..
Also if you use a wheelset preference file that is different from the default one in the software, you can put X,Y, + Z scale together on the same encoder group so you don't have to change your encoder "page" to get to the different scales.
There is a good preference file for DL.2/AXON encoders fromthe FPS website:

Look at the second item on this page.
Additionally I have made my personal wheelsets and preferences available to anyone who wants them. Look @ this thread for more on that:
But I Know how you can do that on a HOG III . But it will be nice if it`s in the software don`t you think. It`s a virtuoso where the axon is on . But thanks for your idee and help
Well I guess you should as the Virtuoso gurus for a profile that would allow you to do such a thing....sorry, but I don't have enough expertise with that console to help you there:hogsign:
The problem is not that I don`t know how to make a profile or to make a wheel setup. But I think the solution is to have It in the axon. So you have a option in the axo where you can scale your X and Y together. Also a option to move your mask on your X,Y and Z postion. But thanks for your help
My question to highend is. Is it possible to get a function in the axon to scale your x and y together and also to give a position for your mask on your x,y and Z . Thanks
Well personally I don't find it all that hard to just spin two encoders at once in that case, and when changing an objects' position in 3-D space or changing the global viewpoint, it could actually hinder the ability to scale.
I could see Mask X+Y position being very useful though to change where the Mask "opening" is.....Z position for Mask would not, since you always want it in "front" of everything else (otherwise it's no longer a mask).
