Axon NOOB question

Hi All,

I've used most of the other media servers out there but not the Axon. A client has approached to use some DML-1200s for an event. Because I need a higher resolution image than the Standard or Enhanced Collage Generator could provide, I've decided to go with the Segmented mode.

And the question is... am I correct in that I would need to have one Axon server per fixture?

Yes David, you would need an Axon for each output.

There are 3 types of DML's available (I believe, I've only used 1 type). There is a "no server," a "mini-hippo," and an "axon" version. If you just order the Axon versions of DML's, then you don't need additional servers as each head would have one in it.

Just a thought.

FYI i think that a HD Clip spread over 6 units with Enhanced Collage Generator Axons look very nice.

I appreciate the information. My event is in Europe and I'm here in Canada and it's a little difficult to get my hands on the gear considering I'm not renting it from anybody locally.
