Catalyst Not Able to Load Stock Libraries

Good morning.

I am suddenly having problems with my Catalyst. This morning, when I started the computer, and then started Catalyst....the control window opened, the output window opened, but none of NTSC libraries opened like normal.

When I go to the HUD display, none of the library files appear.

When i perform a scan, the only thing that comes up are 5 test patterns. I have confirmed that the files are there by opening them from the desktop.

To my knowledge, the only thing we have done to the computer is add a user password to users/groups so that we can log into the computer in order to share the directory...

This a damn near a brand new unit....any ideas?

  • Try this step by step. Most likely there is a very simple explanation.

    Got to your main screen with the catalyst tool bar.

    Click windows. Click library. Open the second tab named Folders.

    Click on a library folder there to select your content. Any one will work.

    That should open your apple files window. Make sure you are pulling content out of your Content drive. Click Content in the left box.

    Click on 3-libraries for distribution
    Click on video library - NTSC
    The media folders should appear then. 000 to 018.
    Keep video library - NTSC armed a choose this folder.

    Near the top of the library window, press scan files.

    I am think you just needed to redirect where you are pulling your content.
