MacBook Pro & Express software

Has anyone tried to run a Catalyst Express on a MacBook Pro?

Looking for a possible backup Catalyst system as well as a very small portable system for churches or events like.

I have been running, very successfully, Cat4 Pro. I get about 4 layers of video before any stutter. Able to drive artnet. Macbook Pro 2.0Ghz, 2GB RAM. Let me know if you have any questions.

i am looking at the 17" w/ 2.16ghz. what is your setup with the artnet? what console is driving your system? are you using the DVI output on your laptop with only one output? please explain your setup.

all intel machines have worked well so far.

the 17" laptop has only just made it out to people. not reports yet.

Does the Catalyst 4 software run directly on Intel based MACs or do you need any software emulator?

There is a Universal Binary version that will run on both PowerPC and Intel Macs.
