Tubes with catalyst

Hello. In NZ I have access to these tubes.

I have been told that their controller will give me access to their RGB channels via DMX.

Will this work in pixelmad/catalyst and can i just use a genereic 3 channel profile or something to get them to work.

Please have a look a t the link to see if they are suitable I want to run custom video content through them via catalyst.

  • Ok so if each pixel is 3 channels and each fixture is 48 channels i'm going to to use mor universes pretty quickly when the tubes start to add up to be a big element.

    stupid question but the controller is dmx so it only has 512 channels yes? so in theory i would only be able to control say 20 tubes if they were each 48 channels or something like that.

    so i would need a seperate controller for every universe. each universe would be powered by artnet boxes coming out of cat/pixelmad.

    do i have the basic setup right? thanks.
