Protecting Content -Quicktime Pro Link

Here is a good way to protect your QuickTime content from pirating. It requires you to have QuickTime Pro:

  • content has to be encoded with a compressor that supports this.

    Only Sorenson supported media keys - last time i checked.

    And you would almost never want to use any sorenson encoded content with catalyst, because its designed for web delivery, and uses interframe compression.

    I have never been able to find a way to protect content from copying or playback.
