Greetings. Here is a simple question that may have been asked before or may be addressed in Version 4. I see that there are RS 232 and RS 422 connections for controlling other devices from the Catalyst, but is there are any to do the reverse? In other words, can you trigger Catalyst playback from a switcher or edit controller via GPI triggers? Can you trigger it via SMPTE time code from another video device such as a VTR or DVD? If so what interconnections and configurations are necessary? Thanks and Happy Holidays!
