Pathway, Pathport, can we see them from the console or concert

Hello,

I'm working right now with a EOS TI and 8 nodes Pathport, Pathway Octo, they work and everything.

But I see them nowhere in the console or in concert, where I can see they are online or not? technical support of Pathport told me I can't manage them from the board, but I should be able to see them somewhere at less, no?

  • Hello Kevin,

    Pathport nodes aren't configured via ACN but via there own proprietary method.

    The EOS will only report found ACN devices.

    sACN (dmx over ACN) is a unidirectional protocol so devices supporting sACN aren't discover-able.

    ACN is a bidirectional protocol (like RDM) and is discover-able.
