Using NET 3 ACN Gateway as dongle with laptop?

Hi there,

We have two unused Net 3 ACN gateway DMX RDM boxes laying around..
Is it possible to use these boxes as a dongle (in combination with a laptop and etc software), or can they only be used in combination with an etc desk with an existing DMX network?

Hi Ruben,

Gateways are not Dongles. Net3 DMX ACN Gateways are only ports allowing you to send specific sACN Universes out as DMX,

but you still need a console that sends DMX as sACN out, or a Laptop with ETC Nomad Software AND Nomad Dongle connected.
