MDD card

Pretty sure I know the answer, but can anyone confirm whether a MDD card from a Distributed DMX Driver Unit will support RDM?

  • Hi Cory,

    Afraid not. The MDD was designed before RDM was a gleam in ESTA's eye. RDM needs devices to be able to talk and listen on the line and to have splitters allow bidirectional communication - which the MDD does not do.
