Remote access to via iPhone app

I'm trying to set up remote access for the iPhone app and am looking for the port I need to use to port forward. Also, it looks like I can only type a basic IP address into the app an not a URL or port number. Anyone find ways around this?

  • iRFR has no level of authentication built-in, and wouldn't be suitable for any wide area network routing, especially transiting the internet (which is one of the reasons why it doesn't have domain name support). It uses TCP and UDP for ports 3033-3036, and this isn't changeable from its defaults.
For a wireless router in a closed network, most routers will automatically allow the TCP connection between its wireless/local side and its wired/lighting network side - this is a very common networking scenario in many other applications.
