A question on the Response gateways. What options are on signal lost?
Hold and ? and how do the "not hold" work?
The reason I'm asking is that I have a DMX controller that takes over on DMX loss from the console. And right now I'm runing 2 universes from the xlr on my JR to that device and the rest over sACN. but with a backup system active I won't have control over the two first universes that runs over the xlr on the JR if the JR fails.
But if I run over the gateway I have now the gateway only sends hold or zero. it don't stop transmitting if I close down my JR.
I had another solution that was using 2 ports in as Backup mode activating them when I stopped the sACN signal in. but that device wasn't handling the sACN any good.
