Net3 I/O Node Capabilities

What are the capabilities of the I/O connections on the node to be routed on the console end?

My goal would be to route a contact closure to the "Go" on the primary fader on an Ion console. This is in an attempt to get our scenery automation system (which can fire contact closures) to fire a light cue so that an automated electric with moving lights will move at the same time as an auto cue.

Is this possible?

Hello Nick,

Absolutely. With an IO gateway you can use the contact input to fire a cue, run a submaster or fire a macro. Take a look in the Ion manual under Show Control, Analog Inputs and Relay outputs, and you'll get a good idea of what can be achieved.
