Hey everyone
i have a response gateway that operates normally with unmanaged switches. But once I connect it to managed switch "cisco" its become unreachable host and sometime green indicator go off and sometimes blink slowly.
btw the switch in its default sittings
It seems that multicast (IGMP) snooping is blocked in the switch.
But i have 8 units more and they working normally
Did you check the network settings of this device?
yes, it’s in dynamic ip mode
but is this make difference. It should appear at any mode , am i right?
So you have an DHCP server running in the system? The other gateways are also in DHCP mode?Did you check your network setting with concert?
No all of them are have static ip
All gateways and routers, switches and console should have a static IP.
I am not able to reach gateway to do configuration even through GCE
For response gateways you need concert 4.0.2, GCE is discontinued.
You can download here https://www.etcconnect.com/Products/Networking/Software/Concert.aspx
it’s not appear on concert also if i pinging there is no response
You can ping a device only if it had a static IP or if there is a known IP set by DHCP. In concert there is a function to find devices.
ok , thanks for ur help
I do all of the above sittings and still not shown. Also in net concert there is unknown device which I can’t edit
Did you checked the networkcable? Maybe you should call ETC tech. service
