DMX input to Net3 gateways

Hi,

We have a system of a Congo with Congo jr backup and the signal is output thru Net3 4-port gateways. So far so good. In a couple of months the theatre will host a big festival and some of the productions will bring their own lighting consoles, wich don't speak Net3.

Can I use a Net3 node in input mode to get their lighting consoles to talk with our gateways?

Hi there -

Yes you can! Do you need their data to pass through your Congo? If not, it's quite easy to set up a DMX Input node to get their data onto the network. If you want their data to pass through the Congo, you can do this as well, but only for one universe. Where are you located? A call to technical support may help you to set up your system to perform the way you want.
