Is a Net3 DMX node supposed to maintain its last state after losing communication with the console, or is it designed to return all values to 0? My previous Net2 nodes held their state indefinitely (unless they lost power).
Reason for asking: following end of show, I went to Cue 0 on my Ion, and then shut down the console. This should have left my Wybron CXIs (getting data from a Net3 DMX node) in the position they were in at the last cue of the show (these were the only gear set at a level other than 0 at the time of shutdown). About 3-4 minutes after shutdown, as I walked onto the stage, all the CXI units suddenly zipped to 0, as they had apparently lost DMX.
There were no other devices (other than DMX nodes) or users on the system at or after the time of shutdown.
