Possible bug when deleting a range of scenic elements channels with partitions

A bit complex so I may have easily made a mistake.

Cue 1 and cue list two where recorded with both dimmer and scenic element channels.

Then two partitions were created ( 1,2) 1: with dimmers 2: with scenic elements

Partition 1 add to Cue list 1 and partition 2 add to cue list 2

then in blind with cue list 2 you can type

1 Thru 99 delete cue 1 thru 99 <enter>

Does delete all the the dimmer channels created

Now when on cue list 1 to delete the scenic elements that were accidently recorded before partitions created

100 Thru 199 delete cue 1 thru 99 <enter>

Says channel list empty

but you cant do

100 delete cue1

So it looks like you can't delete ranges of scenic elements when partitions are enabled.

  • As Ueli noted, check your current Partition - If you are set to be Partition 1, you can delete Channels 1 Thru 99 in Cue List 2 because those channels are owned by that partition.  In Cue List 1, you can not delete a range of channels (100-199) that are not part of your partition using just [Thru].  If you use [Thru Thru] >> >> 100 Thru Thru 199 Delete Cue 1 Thru 99 Enter Enter >> This will allow you to delete a range of channels outside your current partition because [Thru Thru] instructs the console to bypass the partition limitations for the entire range.
