Using Sensor3 or Sensor+ + Paradigm ACP + Smartfade Console

Hello.

We're thinking to get a new ETC system for Architectural and Entertainment lighting in a little Auditorium.

Our budget it's not too elevated. However, we need to drive 50 Dimmer. Initially, I thought I could use an Smartlink System, but it's limited to 48 Dimmer circuits, so we'll have to buy a Sensor system plus Paradigm ACP.

Now, the question is: Is it possible to use a PoE Switch to interconnect the dimmer racks and the Paradigm ACP, and connect an Smartfade Console to the ACP via DMX?

And the second question: What's the difference between Sensor3 and Sensor+? We have a system based on Sensor+, but in etcconnect.com I just can see Sensor3 and Sensor+ Sinewave system. Is Sensor+ discontinued?

Thanks in advance four your help!

  • You can connect Paradigm and Sensor via Ethernet (NET3)

You can connect the smartfade into the back of the Paradigm via dmx or into the sensor via dmx.

Or you can connect the smartfade into the NET3 network using a gateway.

Sensor+ is discontinued. You can upgrade sensor+ to sensor3.
