ELV10 vs. D20

I've read David's report on dimmer module types, but one thing that isn't made abundantly clear is dimming line voltage LED replacement lamps. Which dimmer module would be a better choice for a situation with 20 or so 10w LED replacement lamps per circuit? One would think that reverse phase control would work better with the LED drivers in these lamps.

This depends on the manafacturer of the led unit.

Check the leds datasheets.

For leading edge dimming pick Dxx. For trailing edge dimming pick ELVxx.

Unfortunately we're at a point in the evolution of LED products where it's impossible to predict performance & compatibility of any specific product. There aren't any generic answers to what module is best--even different models from the same manufacturer can have drastically different behavior. To help determine whether a product will work and what module & settings work best, we offer free testing.
