Sensor Rack Fan

Hi, We have 3 ER48 racks in our venue. On one of them the fan in the top of the unit has stopped.

It is set to always on. I guess it's because it's been going for the last 10 years non stop.

Does anyone know how to change the fans?

Many thanks

Baz

  • 10 years is a pretty good run for a fan. I changed one out a couple of years ago and it's pretty easy with only basic tools required, and a crimper for the wire butt splices. obviously you should TURN OFF THE MAIN POWER TO THE SENSOR RACK before getting in there to work. The ETC replacement fan is equally high quality so pay a little extra and get one from ETC that will last another ten years!
