CEM 3 Rj45 Port

Hi All i was just wondering if anyone knows the purpose of the Rj45 port on the CEM 3 and how i would use it

  • The RJ45 on the front of the CEM3 can be used like any other network tap in your lighting network. You could connect an ETC MKII Gateway to it and get DMX in your dimmer room :-) But also what Corey said. It is most often used by Service to look at background tasks of the network while in the dimmer room and not at another network 'tap' location or if the rest of the network is offline.
