Paradigm, network rack with line conditioner and UPS

I work sporadically in an 8 year old venue (a basketball arena) that has the Paradigm, gigbit switch, and Gateways in a rack with a UPS and a Furman line conditioner in line.

The UPS is plugged into the dedicated 120v power outlet. The Furman is plugged into the UPS, and it's the only device in the UPS. The Paradigm is plugged into the Furman along with power for a fiber optic module.

For 8 years, everything was okay. A month ago, the original UPS began acting up -- shutting down with 25% battery remaining, and not springing back to life once power was restored. It was replaced.

A week ago, the Furman sensed Extreme Voltage and shut down. I reset power, and all was fine.

Two days ago, our Lumenpulse houselights and Musco court lights blacked out. The button stations were still functioning and a press of a button restored the lights

The Paradigm displayed an error message: Internal Clock Failure.

The date on the clock was 12/31/1999. I reset the clock, and the error message went away.

I think we had a Y2k moment. We're getting a new TimeKeeper battery.

Asking others about their setup: Should the Furman conditioner be plugged into the wall outlet and the UPS plugged into the Furman?
