You are familiar with a code change introduced in 2008 that is a little obscure.  Congrats on that!

Sensor+ Touring Racks are indeed forward phase-control dimmers and not sine wave.

What have you seen used as wiring to connect a 400amp Dimmer from the panelboard?

Well, most situations with portable packs and racks are going to use 4/0 Entertainment cable with E1016 Cam-Loks with two neutrals.  Are you instead wiring in an installation rack?

We are installing it in an electrical room. The owner wants to be able to take it on the road if needed.

In that case, please be sure to also read NEC 520.50 Road Show Connection Panel.

Correct.  We currently do not make Sinewave in portable packs or touring racks as the requests just have not come in for that kind of a product.  However, if you know someone that wants a few, we should get in touch.  :)
