In the "Tiny Tips for Technicians" section of this month's BackStage it states: "While Sensor, ELTS2, and DRd are all able to receive an external input to trigger their emergency look, you cannot share emergency contact closures across product lines. To be clear, multiple Sensor Power controllers can be wired together as can multiple DRd racks, but you can not wire Sensor and DRd together on the same run of wire."
Is there a detailed explanation of this? Is this a UL listing issue for the panels? What about Echo products, SmartPacks, SmartSwitches, and ALCR-DINs? What if the contact is also wired to a non-ETC device?
