We are in process of testing our programs for Windows 10 compatibility. At the moment we are eagerly awaiting the Windows 10 release version so that we can complete the full testing using the software that end users will experience. It would be a good idea to wait a little while to allow us to complete this task.

Windows 10 Testing Update

We frequently receive inquiries about ETC software and Windows 10 compatibility.

On the whole, Windows 10 has not introduced new compatibility concerns over Windows 8 or Windows 7.

We have tested the following software packages, and will continue testing the remaining software in the near future.

Compatible:

• Eos ETCnomad v2.3.1 and higher
• Net3 Concert v1.1.1 and higher
• Smartsoft v3.0.2 (see below)
• Gateway Configuration Editor (GCE) v3.1.3
• Network Configuration Editor (NCE) v4.3.1
• DimStat v3.4.1
• Expression Offline v3.1.1 (and Personality Edit v1.2)
• Paradigm (LD, CD, VTS) v2.1.2 and higher

We have found the following incompatibilities:

• Smartsoft v3.0.2 does not include signed drivers, which can cause installation issues on some systems. Install the ETCNomad Gadget Driver Installer (http://www.etcconnect.com/WorkArea/DownloadAsset.aspx?id=10737484980) and the Smartfade should now connect to Smartsoft.
• The CEM+ web interface (Sensor+ Connect) is not compatible with Internet Explorer (IE) 11 or Microsoft’s new browser, Edge. Use IE11 in compatibility mode and chose IE10 or lower.
• Unison Light Manager does not run on 64-bit systems.
