Hey all
Just wanted to share what I am going to propose to the committee of my local theatre group, I want to mic the stage for some sound reinforcement, we are an old group and there are members who believe that we don't need to mic the stage but here is what I am going to propose.
Behringer X32 compact with an S16 stage box and NCat5e cable
3 crown PCC160 boundary mics at the very front of the stage to pick up the first third of the stage
4 audio technica pro 45 hanging mics to hang over the other two-thirds of the stage
does anyone have any feedback on this or has anyone used a setup like this in a musical theatre setting?
