Smartswitch low voltage output

I have a Samrtswitch going into a site, and have just learned that the loads it will be controlling are 347 volt ( used in Canada ) controlled by low voltage controlled contactors

Is there any way to get a controlled low voltage ouput from a Smartswitch ? or is it strictly line voltage ?

  • The outputs of a SmartSwitch are just relays, so there's no reason they couldn't be used to switch lower voltages.  You still need line voltage (120VAC or 277VAC) to power the control electronics, of course.  Also, if you are doing some line-voltage switching in addition to the low voltage for these contactors, you will want to use voltage barrier kits to keep the two different voltages separate from each other.
