Smartlink Architecture - D50 dimming modules

The SmartLink ACP that you were looking at working in our Unison DRd Power / Dimming Enclosure. Unfortunately that dimming cabinet only supports modules up to 20 Amps (D20). The D50 module only works in the Sensor Dimming products.

Additionaly, I'd like to know if ETC has an official training or certification system. I', an Electronical Engineer and I'd like to work with this equipment (I've been working with our Sensor+/Unison Legacy system for 4 years).

If we finally work with a Sensor3 system + unison paradigm, can we use a Smartfade Console or it works just with Smartlink systems?

The SmartFade outputs standard DMX so it can be be used with Paradigm and Sensor3

OK, understood.

Finally, we're thinking to use 2 Sensor3 racks, and communicate them via PoE Switch (one to each other and both with the Unison ACP). The Smartlink doesn't have ETC NET3 communication, so is it possible to connect that via DMX with one of the CEM3 and it shall be able to control the whole system? Or in this case is required to use a console which can communicate via NET3.

You can link thru dmx (link into rack1, then thru into rack 2).

Or you can get a gateway and convert DMX into Net3, which can be then sent to both racks.

Converting to NET3 allows you to set priorities. I.e. With smartlink on (via gateway) override unison.

Maybe this is too late, but to be honest, two racks out being controlled by a SmartFade console seems a little underpowered....  May I suggest an Element?  If you're spending that much money on a system, upgrading to an element won't be significantly more expensive and well worth doing...
