ArtNet "Directed Broadcast" not selectable (Cobalt V8)

sACN (E1.31) is the preferred method of sending DMX data to a visualiser.
It is supported by all current visualisers and is far easier to configure.

Thanks for the report, we've reproduced it here. Directed and Limited Broadcast are both being stored as Limited Broadcast.

Thanks for your response, but I can not connect Cobalt to Wysiwyg using sACN.

My Wysiwyg can receive sACN data (it works properly with the "sACN View" software), but Cobalt doesn't seem to send the data to Wysigyg. "sACN" and "offline output" are enabled, so I'm probably missed something.

Do you see in sACNView that Cobalt is sending sACNview?
What machine is Cobalt v8 running on? Cobalt Console? Or Laptop? Or?

If Laptop, Is WYSIWG on the same Laptop as Cobalt?

No sACNView doesn't receive anything from Cobalt, but it can properly send to WYSIWYG with the Transmitter.
Both run on the same PC, on Window 10.

Is Cobalt set to send Draft or Released sACN - check in Network Settings next to where you enable sACN?

Can you post a photo of the Network Settings for the Cobalt Software?

I am using Cobalt v8 on my Win7 Laptop and also sACNview v2.0.1 and am seeing the sACN from Cobalt Uni 2 address 1 arriving.

So it should work if all settings are correct.

Which Version of sACNview are you using?

I don't find this setting anywhere, I just see that the Transmitter Protocol is set to "Ratified".

I apologize - I was trying this with an ETCNomad Dongle - which of course allows sACN Output. I just tried this as Offline,
which is what you have been trying and there is actually no sACN being Output. This is a bug in v8.0.0 which will be fixed in v8.0.1 when it Releases soon.

Can you try using Cobalt v7.3.1 for the mean time? Or is it possible that you borrow an ETCNomad Dongle?
How many Addresses are you trying to Output for the visualisation?

Unfortunately I can't. There is a bug in previous versions with OpenGL and NVIDIA cards which causes Cobalt windows to be red, and it was just fixed in Cobalt v8. Do you have an idea of the release date of next version?
