Modifying attributes in preset-list

Try hitting ATTRIBUTE key when in the Live screen & then do SET-UP & TAB and the option to enable spreadsheet editing is there Aasa

I just tried as you suggested and was able to tick the box, but it didn't do any difference. I still can't change any of the fan, colour or colour speed values directly in the editor (working with scroller rolls right now). Neither in "Live"- "Attributes" or in "Preset"- "Attributes". The only way I can change the values is by activating the channels live and change them on stage. 

Is there anything else I could try?

Just in-case , with the preset attribute screen open  - # (preset number you want) [Preset] & [Attribute] key should open the preset attribute editor tab and then press the format sliver key a few times.

I just tried it and the attribute editor tab defaulted to 'changed devices' which was blank as they hadn't changed . A couple of presses of FORMAT brought up the 'All Devices' option

Also , Hit SETUP ,  go to the Attributes tab and arrow down to the 'Attribute editor default' option . It will likely say 'Palette' in the box , so hit modify and it will change to absolute so you can enter values
