Congo junior startup problem - 3 beeps

Hello everyone,

Please can you help me?

I have a Congo Junior console which has just been moved from the production desk in the auditorium to the control booth.

When everything was reconnected and it was powered up, all I get is three slow beeps and then the LCD screens display "Congo Jr" but nothing appears on my monitors.

Do these three beeps mean something terminal (I am fearing something has become dislodged during the move) or could there be another explanation? I believe I have checked for rookie errors but would appreciate your advise ASAP.

didn't mean to suggest previous post as answer.... sorry I haven't seen this with the congo directly but usually beeps on startup mean that some hardware has either failed or come disconnected. The usual culprit is memory modules.

Thanks, I had seen a comment about RAM problems as applied to another ETC console. Without professional advice I am not going to go poking in the back of the desk though. However the show is imminent!

Thanks, sorry I have some time so not so imminent as in five minutes' time, but a Dress Rehearsal on Sunday so will ring them in the morning (UK time).

Thanks to everyone for their help.

Problem now fixed, graphics card had come loose.

Thanks to 24hr Tech Support (UK) for their guidance as I don't like poking around inside lighting desks without knowing what to look for!
