Screen Shots of Congo JR

Hi there
Newbie looking at the Congo Jr. I am trying to work with both the PC desktop and Mac OSX laptop off line editor.
Trying to work with the syntax... having some troubles...
(I understand that a laptop keyboard is difficult to use...)

Wondering if some screen shots with the corresponding shortcuts be posted?
IE: How does one access the off line encoders?

These visuals would be very helpful

Thanks

  • Currently, there are no images of the keyboard layout. Have you found the physical console button/offline button mapping table? See below for the most recent table.

Most of the console buttons have a corresponding keyboard hotkey (like P for PRESET, S for SEQ etc.).

So, essentially, the offline keyboard behaves exactly like the console (including button combinations like SEQ & PLAYBACK) once you know the console button keyboard equivalents.

    Hope this helps!

Off line encoders: I assume that you mean how to control the parameter wheels in the Moving Lights dock, correct? Just drag the wheels with the mouse.

  • In case you haven't already found this, to open up the Moving Light dock, hold [SETUP] and press [BROWSER]
(Or hold F11, hit F10 on a PC keyboard.)

Then select "Moving Lights" from either the Top or Bottom dropdown lists, and click on "OK"

You'll then get a Moving Light dock at the top or bottom of the screen that has click'n'draggable encoder wheels, clickable wheel keys plus a few others, encoder function displays, and a CMY colour picker.

  • If Offline is to be a commonly used item for you - consider buying an Xkeys keyboard

and using the overlay and drivers that Sarah has posted here
