Swap C & 0

I tried to use the swap C & 0 function in the system settings and got some unexpected responces.

I was trying to get the keypad to be in line with the standard 10 key pad of other ETC consoles.

I swapped the key caps after checking the box in the system settings.

Everything worked fine for inputing channels and levels, but when it came to entering text (ie. file name, preset text, etc) the keys defaulted to their original purpose and therefore the keycaps were wrong.

Is there a possibility that this will be fixed in later versions of the software.

I went ahead and switched everything back so that the other techs using the board wouldn't get confused.

Unfortunately, this is more complicated to change than it seems to be. In text entry mode, the face panel simulates a standard USB keyboard with the standard keyboard layout.
Currently, we have no plans on changing this but I will add it to our wish list for future versions.

It isn' t anything to crucial. The C & 0 swap was a minor preference thing for me. It was just confusing that it didn't remain in place for the text entry.
I understand why it didn't. Oh, it is always the "simple things" that prove the hardest.
