Touch screen fade times

We have set up our touch screen with colour groups on in our channel layout. If I trigger a colour group from my master wing I can prefix this with a number and get it to fade to the colour over that time. I can't get this to happen with the touch screen. It simply doesn't see the number inputed. We have an ELO screen and are on V6.0.1 software.

Is there something I can set up to do this or is this a software thing?

If it is software, can you arrange a fix ! ! !

Hi Gareth -

Do you mean when using a Channel Layout with palette buttons? We can consider adding that feature to the software. Are you using palette numbers higher than 100? If not, you could use the Console Mimic dock to display the direct selects, which should accept a number first for a timed fade...

Hey

I've given your suggestion a go using the Mimic docks for the last couple of shows. It offers a work around but takes up a lot of screen room and limits what I'm trying to do. If it's a possibility to add the functionality of fade time to palette buttons on the Channel Layout that would be GREAT !
