Is it possible to set the desk up to accept hexadecimal values for attributes by typing it in direcly?
For instance typing 200 and hitting the wheel key for file to select file 200 in a Catalyst system?
Thanks,
Orri

Hi Orri,
I am not sure about the purpose of this. Does Catalyst use hexadecimal numbers for its media? We have been running lots of Catalysts with Congo and I haven't heard about this before. Could you tell us a little bit more about your configuation?
PS. How would you enter the letters a-f of a hexadecimal number thru the numerical keypad?

Richard pointed out that you probably search for a way to enter the raw values (0-255). (Sorry for the confusion. For a programmer like me, hexadecimal is something quite different.)
You can toggle both the display and the number entry mode between the 0-100% representation and the 0-255 representation with the, somewhat hidden, command FORMAT & @LEVEL. Note: This is a global mode and it affects all parameters until you turn it off.
Hi Orri
There is a method of changing and inputting by "Format &@" or the method of creating 256 steps in the parameter range of a template.
Intensity can be inputted at 256 bits by "*** point & @."

Kani
Brilliant, works like a charm
